You must practice good oral hygiene every day to prevent tooth loss through gum disease and tooth decay. Research has shown that gum disease is linked with heart disease, low birth weight in babies, diabetes and Alzheimer’s disease. At The Ponds, we provide the best care for your teeth and gums. During your visit, please tell your dentist all the problems that you are facing, be it bleeding gums or tooth sensitivity. Accordingly, our Dental team will devise a program of treatment and prevention for your oral health.

Our dental team is available at your service for 20, 30 and 40 minute appointments which include calculus removal, stain removal, dietary advice and home care advice.

Periodontal maintenance is an important dental treatment performed to thoroughly clean the teeth. It is recommended every three to four months. Frequent removal of the bacteria from the gum line can control the inflammation and can often prevent the further breakdown of the bone and gum supporting your teeth. Gum diseases can be prevented with routine dental examination. Our dental team will advise you of the type and frequency of periodontal care you require.

-Use the proper equipment.

-Keep your brush clean

-Replace your toothbrush once in three months.
